You know what I hate – people who go “oh yeah I’m so against oil, we should protest and stop them from drilling”
Do you know why I hate them? Because chances are they’re gonna snap an instagram of the protest with their pink cased iPhone before they go home and update their twitter with #savetheplanet while wearing $300 shoes and $200 jeans from there $2000 Mac laptop -
Then their gonna go down to the local organic produce to purchase some organic juice in a recycled plastic bottle thinking their being all environmentally friendly as they pull out their over priced brand wallet from their oversize’d leather handbag before returning home for some fair-trade tea with milk and a tofu salad “cause its cruel to abuse animals” then their gonna watch big brother and gossip about their friends while drinking cheap vodka mixes from a plastic cup through a plastic straw until they vomit and go home in the back of a taxi then climb into bed with a copy of 50 shades of grey on their kindle,

You so called “environmentalists” need to realize that supply and demand are the founding principals of our society and YOU are responsible for the DEMAND – want to change something? Your gonna need to sacrifice your standard of living YOU are going to have to make choices to change – but no just grab your ugg boots and your sweatshop tracksuit pants and browse online for a new dress while you tell me what a bad person I am for not wanting to free the refugees. Then i’m sure you’ll continue to bitch about how you learn’t in your social science degree that the government does nothing for you but oppress women in the workforce…
